The Compilation Launch Meeting of "Metal Enclosure and Floor System Structural Atlas of Steel Structure Buildings" Was Grandly Held

On February 6, 2021, the launch meeting of the compilation of the "Steel Structure Building Metal Enclosure and Floor System Structural Atlas" was grandly held at Huabang Construction Company. The atlas has been applied for project approval by the Shaanxi Provincial Building Standard Design Office and is jointly edited by China Qiyuan Engineering Design Institute and Shaanxi Huabang Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. At the meeting, the general manager of Huabang Construction Company, Xingchu, represented the atlas compilation committee and the participating units such as Zhonglian Northwest Engineering Design Institute, Northwest Comprehensive Survey and Design Institute, China Light Industry Xi'an Design Engineering Co., Ltd., China Nonferrous Metals Industry Xi'an Survey and Design Institute, Shaanxi Modern Architectural Design Institute, Zhuochuang Zhongheng Design Institute, and Xi'an Construction Engineering Green Building Group signed the atlas compilation agreement.

The meeting divided the editorial committee into groups and discussed, and passed the nomination and vote of the six chief editorial committee members, namely Fan Minfeng, chief editorial committee member of the explanation group, Yang Ning, chief editorial committee member of the practice group, Wang Zhonghua, chief editorial committee member of the roof group, Xu Shengyu, chief editorial committee member of the wall group, Zhang Ruihua, chief editorial committee member of the floor group, and Xiao Guanxiang, chief editorial committee member of the internal audit group. Each chief editorial committee member arranged the time nodes according to the unified requirements of the atlas editorial committee, assigned each chapter to an individual, and made a statement.

At the launch meeting, the editorial committee members actively offered suggestions, mainly in three aspects: First, it was proposed that the atlas has a lot of content, and it is necessary to unify ideas and make atlas templates for later sorting. Second, it should be targeted at the actual situation in Shaanxi Province. Third, it is recommended to add flat panels and glass to the roof, and flexible roofs should be included in the atlas.

Editor Zhou Zhi emphasized that the compilation of the atlas should follow the time requirements, unify standards, and complete the compilation of the atlas with high quality according to the chapters. Everyone has professional technology and project practice experience in the field of steel structure, and actively interacts in the atlas cluster to form a collision of ideas. And combined with the actual situation of our province, compile an atlas with market value, theoretical height, and industry influence.

Huabang Construction General Manager Xing Chu finally said that holding a launch meeting is a practical need to effectively enhance the sense of responsibility and mission of the editors and stimulate their enthusiasm for the compilation of the atlas, and it is also an inherent requirement for promoting the construction of the atlas. At the same time, determine the time for the next atlas discussion, and all personnel need to propose solutions for reference while raising questions. Everyone fully understands the responsibilities they shoulder and completes the atlas with a good mental state and positive work attitude, and all personnel work together towards the established goals.
